The Husky Cari Harrison’s coaching and playing experience has taken her from Washington to Germany and back. She played for Wilson HS, University of Washington, and Club Eintracht in Frankfurt, Germany. Cari returned from Germany to teach English at Bellarmine Prep HS. After many successful years as head coach of the girls’ Varsity team, Cari stepped down to spend more time with her family. She currently teaches at Bellarmine Prep and lives in Tacoma with her husband Ralph and two great kids, Kate and Christopher.
The Beaver
Chelle Miller is a graduate of Bellarmine Prep and Oregon State. She started every game of her high school and collegiate career and was twice honored as Division 1 National Academic Player of the Year. After college she came back to coach and teach at Bellarmine Prep. After 7 years at Bellarmine, Chelle left to work with the ABL and the WNBA. She currently is a real estate agent at Keller Williams Realty and lives in Edgewood with her husband Mark and three kids, Bryce, Marissa and Karsten.
The Duck
Mary Ann O’Dell attended the University of Oregon on a basketball scholarship. She was a three year starter with the nationally ranked Oregon Ducks. After graduating from Oregon, Mary Ann began teaching and coaching at her alma mater, Peninsula High School. After 10 years as head coach at Peninsula, Mary Ann decided to continue her coaching career at Bellarmine. After leading the Bellarmine team to the State Tournament for three years with her good friend Cari Harrison, Mary Ann decided to quit coaching and start a family. Mary Ann teaches at Peninsula HS and lives in Gig Harbor with her husband Gordy, two dogs, and daughters Elle and Grace.
